Greetings Brethren,
Our Brother James tells us that pure and undefiled religion before God is to visit the fatherless and the widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unspotted from the world. How wonderful it is to see Brethren practicing that pure religion.
We want to thank all of you donors for the immediate action taken in assisting the orphans at Sengera House, concerning their school fees. All are now in school and with all the necessary requirements. We are so happy to see our Heavenly Father once again Glorified by your good works. We also received enough funds to get us back on track in assisting our widows. May God bless each and every one of you for assisting.

We have been notified by the school that they plan to resume the lunch program in approximately one week. If you recall, the lunch program was stopped over one year ago due to a lack of food to cook.

We are also moving forward assisting the children with the Jiggers. The one with the worse case, whose picture was shown in a recent letter, has already been treated. The others are scheduled to have their Jiggers removed on Sunday January 10, 2021. We will also be purchasing shoes for each child to prevent further infestation.
A jigger starts out so small it is nearly invisible. It burrows into a person’s skin and latches onto blood vessels. Within days the jigger swells to over 1000 times the size it was while continuously laying eggs. Those eggs hatch, mature, and lead to an infestation. The results of jigger infestation are pain, itching, and infection.
Jiggers are treated by slicing open the skin with a scalpel, and removing the egg sack from the host. It’s repeated numerous times on a person’s body until they are 100% jigger free. Once Jigger free, their empty wounds must heal, and they are fitted for shoes. The body then takes time to recover from the trauma of removal,

Blessings to you donors who have been assisting these suffering children. Thank God for your compassionate hearts and wanting to help them. God always provides, and He does it through His people. These children have been waiting our help for a while now. The two pictures above where taken back on our last visit to them. BUT as I’m preparing this Update, the Surgeon called and said he could remove the Jiggers now. So Nehemiah and James Mokoro hopped on motor bike and headed out to meet the Surgeon at the village. This was going to be a leap forward in helping these suffering children. Finally (thanks to you donors) we were able to move forward.

These children (As Most in this world) are quite used to suffering. This boy not even tearing as doctor removes Jiggers without any application of anything for numbing. Biggest thing we need, Is “Thy Kingdom Come.” And thank God the Birthing Pains have already started.
