True Servants
In Matthew 25, Yahshua tells his talmidim how He determines and separates his sheep from the goats. This chapter is very important and yet there is no mention of how much Hebrew we know, which calendar we keep or how we pronounce his name. Yahshua tells us exactly what his priorities are. Should we not take heed to make them our priorities as well? As Yahshua places the sheep on his right hand he says to them: Come you blessed of my Abba, inherit the Kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave me food, thirsty and you gave me drink, a stranger and you took me in, naked and you clothed me, sick and you visited me. I was in prison and you came to me. When the sheep asked when they did these things, Yahshua answered, when you did it to the least of these my brethren, you did it to me.
Let us not take for granted the privilege of this end time calling, a call to serve, not to be served, as we assist in gathering the exiles and preparing his Bride for the Malkuth Shamayim. As we strive to become kadosh, to rid ourselves of our spots, blemishes, and wrinkles, let us take a moment to meditate on what Abba says is important to him. Yacov 1:27 says “pure and undefiled religion before Yahshua and Abba is this: To visit widows and orphans in their trouble, and to keep oneself unspotted from the world.” Yahshua spent his life around the needy, the weakest, poorest, and most destitute of the people, reminding us of the Torah command to not show partiality. Mishley (Pro 21:13 says “who stops his ears at the cry of the poor, he also shall cry himself, but shall not be heard.” Yohanan Alef (1 John 3:17) But whoso has this worlds goods, and sees that his brother has need and shows no compassion for him, how dwells the love of Yah in him. Mishley (Pro22:9) He that has a bountiful eye shall be blessed. For he gives his bread to the poor. Mishley (Pro 28:27) He that gives to the poor shall not lack: but he that hides his eyes shall have many a curse.
I am so very thankful to Eddie Chumney for wanting to be a part of this Outreach. I am just as thankful for Bill Goff who many of you have not heard of. The reason for this is that he spends much of his time in Kenya and parts of Africa ministering to these dear, commandment keeping brethren.
100% of what you give goes directly to helping these people. Bill and other servants who go to visit these people use their own money for these trips. Stream of Life pays for all flights to bring in teachers, food, housing, and hall rental for these outreaches. This is possible because of a handful of faithful, torah observant, brethren who give Yah’s tithe.
Instead of asking ourselves, what can we receive from our Hebraic community, let us ask ourselves what we can do to make it better. To make it pure and undefiled in the eyes of Abba and our King. Let us also pray for a true spirit of service as the harvest is many and the laborers few.
Please remember to RSVP the number of people attending with you. Any check donations should be made out to Kenya Hands of Hope. May Yah bless and keep you in his loving care. Shalom, shalom, Sandy
Tehillim (Psalm 112:9)
He has dispersed abroad
He has given to the poor
His righteousness endures forever
His horn will be exalted with honor.
