Voice In the Wilderness Church Of God
December 2007

Greetings Brethren,

I hope this letter reaches all of you there in E.Africa, and all those who are not only hearers of the word of God but also doers of the Word of God. For it is not the hearers of the Word who are just before our God but it is the doers of the Word who shall be justified before Him.

It has been quite some time since I had opportunity to write to you and know that this letter is over due. I have much to say, and hope my feelings can be expressed to each and every one of you.

First, let us take this opportunity to praise our Creator, He sure has been quite busy, trying to complete the building of His church, and having its members ready for His return. You know in Mathew 25 Jesus talks about the 10 Virgins. I’m sure we can all recall that parable where it talks about 5 virgins being ready
for His return and going into the marriage, and 5 not being ready and finding the door shut. I want to refresh our memory of this important parable, and at the same time, see if we can shed a little light on it and better understand it’s meaning.

First let me say this. Life here in the USA is rapidly changing. In the past people here have always had an abundance of opportunity and an overabundance of physical wealth. But the fruit of that abundance has turned out to be quite bad, and the physical wealth has all but been taken away. Seems that most here have been obsessed with all the material wealth and have forgotten their Maker. Back in the book of Deuteronomy Jesus warned us that if we forget the Lord our God, and walk after other gods, and serve them, and worship them, that we shall surely perish. Brethren, that warning has not been heeded here in the USA. I hope all the members of the Body of Christ are heeding it, because the time allotted to us, the members in the church to come out of this world, to come out of Babylon and be Ye separate, is rapidly coming to a close.

Remember this present evil world, and untoward generation that we are now living in was not expected to last for an eternity. Fact is our Lord’s plan for this evil world, which is headed by Satan himself, would only last 6,000 years. The end of that 6,000-year period is rapidly approaching.

Let us not forget the dream that King Nebuchadnezzar had of that great image which represented all the world ruling Empires from the first one (The Head of Gold which represented Nebuchadnezzar’s Babylon), right on down to the last and final world ruling Empire which had ten Kingdoms or Kings, represented by the 10 toes of that great image. Dan 2:38. Dan 7:24-27. Those ten toes that were partly of iron and partly of clay are rapidly forming as we speak. And those ten kingdoms, or Governments are going to rise to power very rapidly and will only last for a very sort time. Rv.17:12

One of those 10 Kingdoms may possibly be called “The North America Union”, which will probably consisting of the United States, Mexico, and Canada. This union appears to be forming behind the scene. The borders between USA, Mexico and Canada are being breached. Also, the dollar is continuing to loose any and all value, and there is talk of a new currency for us here in North America called “The Amero”

Now it is not my intention today to try and figure out which Countries will fit into each of the ten Kingdoms, but it is my intention to remind us of the fact that these 10 Kingdoms will rise up very rapidly and will only exist for a very short time Rv.17:12. Also, it is very important for us, the members of the Body of Christ, the church, to realize that: It is during the short reign of these ten Kings that our Lord and Savior Jesus the Christ will establish His Kingdom. Please read that brethren, its found in Daniel 2:44. His elect, His chosen, His faithful will be departing from this earth and meeting our Lord and Savior in the clouds during the short reign of these ten kings.

The point that I am trying to make here is that time is running out for the members of the Body of Christ (us) to succeed at overcoming. Our opportunity to change our ways is coming to a close. We need to examine our walk and make sure that we are on the correct path. Remember the path that leads to life is a narrow one, and Mat 7:14 says that “Few there be that find it.”
Are you and I part of those few?

The answer to that very important question brethren, is determined totally by our walk, not our talk. And how we walk brethren, is our own free choice. If we are still a part of the ways of this world, if we are still friend to this world, then we are not walking along that narrow path that leads to life James 4:4. And let us fully understand brethren that if we are not walking on that narrow path, then we must be on the wide one because there are only two paths that mankind can follow. And make no mistake about it, that wide path, that broad path, is a crowded path, and does not lead to life, but only leads to death.

We are the Church, the Ekklesia, and the bride of Christ. We have been called to follow that narrow path, and to follow it perfectly. And don’t let anyone tell you that that is impossible, because it is possible for us. Fact is, it is our calling. Mat.5:48, Luke 6:40.

It is possible to stay on that narrow path for those who have been given the proper help. That powerful help that we have access to is called “The Comforter”. But make no mistake about it; God only gives His Spirit to them that obey Him. Acts 5:32. Now we have also been given the proper lighting to illuminate that narrow path so we can find it and not become lost. Surely we all know how important it is to have a light to illuminate our way. Well this light brings us back to that parable of those ten Virgins. Let us go back there now and take a look at that parable of the ten virgins in Mathew 25.

Because we want to be part of those 5 virgins that are ready when our Lord returns so we can go into the marriage with Him and not be on the outside when the door is shut.

Mat 25:1: Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom. 2: And five of them were wise, and five were foolish. 3: They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them: 4: But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. 5: While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept. 6: And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him. 7: Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps. 8: And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out.
9: But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves. 10: And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut. 11: Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us. 12: But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not.

Brethren, we need to have our vessels full of this oil so when that cry goes out, our lamps will stay lit. Well what exactly is this oil that we need to be full of? In the past we have been told that this oil is God’s Spirit, but is that correct? I think not. In verse 9 the five foolish virgins who are lacking this oil are told to go and buy some. Brethren you cannot buy God’s Spirit, It’s NOT for sale. Simon the sorcerer makes that very clear. Acts 8:18.

But there is something that we can buy, something that we better be purchasing now, so we will be ready for the Bridegroom’s return when that cry goes out, and it’s something that is a light to our path, TRUTH.

Truth, brethren is what that oil represents. Truth is what illuminates the narrow path that we need to be walking on, and that Truth is The Word of God. Jn:17:17. Truth is something that we can buy brethren: Proverbs 23:23: Buy the truth, and sell it not We purchase the Truth by taking the time to learn The Word of God: 2Tm. 2:15: Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly piding the word of truth. 1Thes. 5:21: Prove all things; hold fast that which is good. Then we need to walk in that Truth. Ps:119:105: Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.

Time is running out for the church of God to be prepared and ready for the return of our Lord and Savior Jesus the Christ. The last 10 kings are soon to show their faces. Soon it will be midnight and that Cry will be made: Behold, The Bridegroom Cometh; Go Ye Out To Meet Him. And They That Were Ready Went In With Him To The Marriage: And The Door Was
Shut.

It is the wise that will be ready at the return of our Lord and Savior. So let us not forsake our calling brethren. In the book of Ephesians the Apostle Paul admonishes us, the church of God to walk circumspectly to our calling and not as fools but as wise. I will end on that note. Eph 5:15 See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.
