In this article I will hope to show the correlation between Pentecost, the 7and 19 year time cycles and a potential future and final fulfillment of Daniels 70 week prophecy.
THE 70 WEEK PROPHECY POINTS TO END TIME FULFILLMENT
Daniel 9:24 “Seventy weeks are determined For your people and for your holy city, To finish the transgression, To make an end of sins,To make reconciliation for iniquity, To bring in everlasting righteousness To finish the transgression, To make an end of sins, and To bring in everlasting righteousness.
These statements seem to make clear that there is an end time fulfillment of this prophecy. The question is, when do the 70 weeks begin?
THE STARTING POINT
The modern Jewish state of Israel became a sovereign nation on May 14th 1948 at midnight. Thus its first full day of statehood was May 15th, which interestingly coincided with the day of Pentecost, which also began at sunset on the 15th.
Amos 3:7 informs us that “Surely the Lord God does nothing, Unless He reveals His secret to His servants the prophets” Since God is ultimately in charge of world events, especially something as important as the founding of the Jewish nation after some 2000 years in exile. One might want to explore the question, does Pentecost hold the key to understanding this prophecy, in relation to end time events?
PENTECOST -A KEY TO THE PUZZLE
As I’m sure we are all well aware, the day of Pentecost is often referred to as the Feast of Weeks in scripture.
(Numbers 28:26, Deuteronomy 16 verses 10 and 16 and 2 Chronicles 8:13) to name a few.
Noteworthy, the word translated weeks in Daniel 24 and 25 is Strongs # 7620 (sabua) it is also the same word used for Pentecost, as in the Feast of Weeks.
Daniel 9:25 “Know therefore and understand, That from the going forth of the command To restore and build Jerusalem Until Messiah the Prince, There shall be seven weeks and sixty-two weeks; The street shall be built again, and the wall, Even in troublesome times.
So understanding that God reestablished the modern Jewish state of Israel on the day of Pentecost, and that Pentecost is called the Feast of Weeks, might be the final fulfillment of these 62 and 7 weeks in fact be 69 years, or 69 Pentecost’s ? Let’s explore this concept. 69 PLUS 7 YEARS
Daniel 9:27 NLT The ruler will make a treaty with the people for a period of one seven, (week NKJV) but after half this time, he will put an end to the sacrifices and offerings. And as a climax to all his terrible deeds, he will set up a sacrilegious object that causes desecration, ( the abomination of desolation, Matthew 24:15) until the fate decreed for this defiler is finally poured out on him.” It’s my understanding that in the final fulfillment. this verse is referring to the man of sin. (the first seal, the white horse of Revelations 6) Picturing that the man of sin, the false Messiah, the Anti Christ, will swiftly come to power (horses of the first 4 seals representing great speed, since the horse was the fastest mode of transportation at the time John recorded the vision) to the position of world dictator for a period of 7 years.
So we can view the 70 week prophecy as a period of 69 plus 7 years, Until Messiah the Prince brings an end of sin, Beast power destroyed and satan removed. And also bringing in everlasting righteousness, God’s Kingdom which will be restored and rule for eternity. (Revelation 11:15)
RESTORE AND REBUILD JERUSALEM
In 1948 the modern Jewish state did not gain sovereignty of the entirety ofJerusalem. That did not occur until after the 6 day war in 1967. Adding it up. If we start with 1967 and add 69 years plus 7 years we come to 2043, as a suggested date of God the Father and Jesus Christ’s return.
So that’s an interesting calculation, but does it have any real merit to predicting a date to the establishment of God’s Kingdom on earth? Let’s keep the year 2043 in mind.
THE 19 YEAR TIME CYCLE
If we begin with the date of 1948 and add 19 years we come to the year of 1967. So we have one 19 year time cycle between the birth of the modern nation and Israel’s gaining complete control of Jerusalem. So the question is, has God arranged this historical record, the time between Israel’s nationhood and the gaining full control over Jerusalem, such that we can use the 19 year time cycle for a template for future events?
1948 + 19 = 1967 If we add 4 more 19 year time cycles we again come to the year of 2043. 19 x 4= 76 967 + 76 = 2043
So from 1948 to 2043 we have an exact total of 5 time cycles of 19 years Of further interest is the fact that we have exactly (2) 19 year time cycles between Christ’s crucifixion in 31 AD and the destruction of the temple in 69 AD 69 -31 = 38 years 2 x 19 = 38 years
So we have (2) 19 year time cycles between Christ’s death (the destruction of His temple, His body) John 2:19-21 And the Destruction of the physical temple in 69 AD So adding it all together we have a total of (7) 19 year time cycles between the death and departure of Christ and His return, resulting in the birth of the Spirit temple (His Ekklesia) at the resurrection in 2043. Granted with a 2 millennia gap in-between. Moreover, beginning with the founding of the modern Jewish state on Pentecost in 1948 we have exactly (5) 19 year time cycles TO THE VERY DAY, presuming that the resurrection takes place on the Feast of Harvest, the Feast of First-fruits, which is the Feast of Weeks, which is also Pentecost. I find all of this most interesting, and seems to be too much of a mere coincidence.
So far we have seen a correlation between Pentecost, the 19 year time cycle and a potential date of Christ’s return. But there is more. MORE EVIDENCE THAT THE YEAR 2043 IN RELEVANT THE SHEMITAH 7 YEAR TIME CYCLE
It has become apparent through recent research by various members of God’s Church (Boyd Yahn and Tom Kerry of the cogmi.org, to name a few, that the 7 year Shemitah cycle seems to correlate with various economic and societal events over the last 70 plus years.
Recently Boyd has astutely brought to mind that the Shemitah cycle is directly tied to God’s command to observe the land Sabbath.
Leviticus 25:1 And the Lord spoke to Moses on Mount Sinai, saying, 2 “Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them: ‘When you come into the land which I give you, then the land shall keep a sabbath to the Lord. 3 Six years you shall sow your field, and six years you shall prune your vineyard, and gather its fruit; 4 but in the seventh year there shall be a sabbath of solemn rest for the land, a sabbath to the Lord. 18 ‘So you shall observe My statutes and keep My judgments, and perform them; and you will dwell in the land in safety. 19 Then the land will yield its fruit, and you will eat your fill, and dwell there in safety.
So we find here a promise that God would bless our nation collectively if we obey Him and keep this 7th year Sabbath of the land. Well God will not be mocked, if we fail to listen and obey His voice, then we can expect the opposite of a blessing, and that would be a curse. As we all know, the book of Leviticus as with all the other books of what we refer to as the Old Testament, were originally written on scrolls. And there were no chapter breaks like we find in the modern bibles, in those scrolls. So understanding this then, we find that the very next section of scripture is what we define as Leviticus 26, one of the 2 blessing and cursing chapters.
God states in 4 differs verses, 18, 21, 24 and 28 of Leviticus 26 that He will punish His people 7 more for their sins.
The first example is verse 18
Leviticus 26:18 ‘And after all this, if you do not obey Me, then I will punish you seven times more for your sins. 19 I will break the pride of your power; Breaking the pride of our power I believe is referring to the US Dollar as the worlds reserve currency. Which has given our nation the ability to live far beyond our means for many years now. It has allowed us a free printing press and the ability to support the largest defence budget in the world by far. But we are getting to the point now, that the US dollar hegemony is becoming increasingly unloved around the world.
But getting back to the main point. In verse 18 God says He will punish His people 7 times more for their sins. The phrase 7 times is Strongs number 7651 which by definition can mean a week. Might this not be referring to the curse of not observing the Land Sabbath defined as the 7 year Shemitah cycle in the previous chapter Leviticus 25?
Let’s examine the recent historical record of the Shemitah cycle in relation to the modern nations of Ephraim and Manasseh. In the year 1917 Great Britain drafted the Balfour Declaration which outlined the objective to create a homeland for the Jewish people. So that was actually a positive event that happened in a Shemitah year. In 1931 Great Britain which held the world reserve currency at the time removed all gold coins from circulation. Two years later the US and the rest of the world followed, removing all gold coins from their economies as well. At the same time the Federal Reserve no longer allowed paper currency to be redeemed for gold.
Two Shemitah cycles later in 1945, Great Britain officially passed the global reserve currency baton to the United States, which gave us the ability to become the most powerful nation on earth. 1966 was also a Shemitah year. It was the first year our government literally debased our currency, by removing all of the silver from our coins.
This in fact desecrated the Constitutional Coin Act of 1792, which legally and literally defined the US Dollar as 371 grans or a little over 24 grams of silver. The next Shemitah brought the 1973 orchestrated oil embargo, which caused rising inflation and a 30% stock market decline Continuing to follow the 7 year cycle: In 1980 a hard recession began. 1987 Black Monday and the beginning of the Feds constant and direct stock market interventions 1994 Bond Market Crash 2001 Market Crash and 911 events 2008 Housing Crisis and Market Crash So we had 7 Shemitah cycles from 1966 to 2008 The next one, 2015 seemed to bring a pause in the curses that God imposed on our nation. And so now we arrive at the next Shemitah which is this year 2022, in which the stock market is again getting off to a very shaky start and in which inflation is starting to again rear its ugly destructive head.
THE NEXT TWO SHEMIAH’S
2029 will be the next one. I find it interesting that the World Economic Forum predicts that their Great Reset agenda will be completed by no later than 2030. Interesting they define part of their reset agenda as a time when the average citizen of the world, will no longer own anything. The vast majority of humanity literally being in a state of global economic slavery. How we arrive at that scenario, is a subject for another time. So then the next Shemitah in our time line will be 2036 which would be the start of the Final Week of Daniels prophecy when the man of sin is revealed coming to world power riding the white horse of Revelation 6 as I have mentioned already.
THE FINAL SHEMITAH OF THIS AGE 2043 And then most significant for this study is the fact that 2043 is also a Shemitah Year. IN SUMMATION So we have the 19 year time cycle and the 7 year Shemitah cycle conjoining on the same date of 2043. As well as 69 plus 7 years, fulfilling the 70 week prophecy beginning in 1967 arriving of the SAME year as well, 2043 Now to be fair and balanced, I have back dated both the 7 and 19 year time cycles, and have found congruity every 133 years going back to 1777 and 1910 respectively.
These 2 dates are interesting in and of themselves. 1777 being the year that the articles of confederation were formally drafted for our fledgling nation. As well as the year the United States began to be formally recognized as a sovereign nation, and the year we adopted the Stars and Stripes as our national flag. 1910 was a bit more of an ominous date, being the year it is said that almost a quarter of the worlds wealth (banking elites)gathered in Jekyll Island Georgia to plan the formation of the Federal Reserve Banking system. So yes there is a definite pattern regarding the 7 and 19 year time cycles involving pivotal events in our national history, both good and bad, mostly bad.
In conclusion, it does seem rather significant that all three of these time lines arrive at the exact same date of 2043. 76 Pentecost’s from the reestablishment of Jerusalem under Jewish rule to 2043. The shemitah cycle arriving at the exact same date. As well as the 19 year time cycle from which we not only have the birth of the modern Jewish state, and the reclaiming all of Jerusalem under Jewish control.
But also going all the way back to 31AD, with the departure of the Messiah and the physical birth of the church on the very day of Pentecost. Would it not be our Father’s design to have the spiritual birth of His Ekklesia, occurring at the exact same day on Pentecost in 2043. So might not these 3 independent timelines indeed all point to the year when God the Father and Jesus Christ return to bring an end of sin, ushering in everlasting righteousness, and anointing the Most Holy Place with their very Presence fulfilling Daniel 9:24 And might it not then make sense that 2044 would be a Great Jubilee, ushering in the restoration of all things spoken by the mouths of all the Holy prophets since the age of man began. Acts 3:21
I leave you with these thoughts and dates to ponder.
