USA Passover/Feast of Unleavened Bread 2010 March 15, 2010 Greetings Brethren,
Greetings from us here in the USA, I hope this letter finds all of you over there in Kenya & Tanzania well, both physically and spiritually, as we enter into this years Spring Holy Day Season. What a wonderful opportunity we have now, to turn our focus to the sacrifice of our Lord and Savior, and remember all that He went through so that each and every one of us may live. Let us enter into this years Feast of Unleavened Bread fully aware of the importance of what this feast represents, our coming out of sin. I hope we all realize that we are approaching the end of this untoward age, and as we all know, it’s going to go out with much tribulation. We need to be prepared for it. Right now we need to have “ears to hear” and “eyes to see”. Let me make my point a bit clearer, let me put it like this: If, yes If we have “ears” to “hear” and ‘eyes” to “see” then we better be using them, BECAUSE WE SEE THE DAY APPROACHING. Speaking of the Kingdom of God, Christ tells us in the parable of the fig tree: “when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.” That word doors, is plural.
In the early stages of Christ’s return, the Wise Virgins will be meeting Christ in the clouds, and heading over to the Sea of Glass, where there will be a Wedding Banquet. Our Lord will be handing out rewards at that time, and appointing different positions of ruler ship to those who have succeed at overcoming sin, yes, to those who have conquered the ways of this world, the lusts of the eyes, the lusts of the flesh, and the pride of life. They are the ones who will be the recipients of the good rewards. Those who have utilized the talents that they have been given will be hearing their Lord and Master say: “Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things. But Pole Pole, let us be cautious here and take heed Brethren, because not everyone will be receiving those good rewards. Those who have not succeeded at conquering sin, those who have not utilized the talents that they have been given, will not be receiving those good rewards, because every man shall be reward according to his works. Let us all remember a very sobering verse: “many are called, but only few are chosen”. Our heavenly Father has called each and every one of us to participate in the marriage that He has prepared for His son. But in order to be accepted, one has to be properly dressed, wearing a wedding garment. The wedding garment represents purity, the righteousness needed to enter God’s Kingdom. The saints are the ones who will be in the marriage, but one has to “becometh a saint” Eph. 5:3 that word becometh means to tower up. Saints are pure, brethren, unblemished and walk uprightly.
As we keep this 7-day feast, and refrain from eating any physical leavened bread, let us remember that the leaven represents the sinning that we need to be removing from our lives. Let us also remember that the removing of sin from our lives (from our walk) can only be accomplished by putting the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth in. That is why we are also instructed to: Eat unleavened bread each and every day for the entire 7 days of the feast Ex 12:15,18. The church in the wilderness did not succeed at overcoming because they did not have the power to do so, they did not have access to the Holy spirit, and not one of them entered into the Promised Land, but they all died in the wilderness (due to unbelief) except for Joshua & Caleb. The New Testament Church has been given the power to overcome. We have been given the powerful Holy Spirit of God, brethren. So if we fail to overcome, we have no excuse. The building of the Church of God is nearing its completion, and Christ is doing His finishing touches on the stones of His Temple, and we are those stones. His little flock from all around the world is coming together now and becoming of one accord. Those who have opened the door and have allowed Christ to enter in and sup with Him are busy now, working together in unity, edifying, perfecting, keeping that new commandment that our Lord gave us on that last night: To love one another as He has loved us. As we do these things brethren, as we allow the spirit of God to bring us together, we will have opportunity to be sharpening one another’s Irons, allowing God’s spirit to guide us into ALL truth, Yes ALL truth till we ALL come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ Eph 4:11-16. But Pole Pole, once again brethren, let us be cautious here and take heed because those who have refused to open the door, and have not allow Christ to enter in during this Laodicean age, are not supping with Him. They are not connected to the Vine. And Instead of sharpening their fellow brethren’s Irons (allowing God’s spirit to guide them into ALL truth) they are allowing their Irons to lay idle, or busy using their Irons as a weapon and beating their fellow servants over the head. These brethren will not be receiving those good rewards, but instead will be receiving bad rewards. Christ is bringing His church together now brethren; He now has His spirit led sons, becoming more acquainted with one another, and working with one another. So we need to take heed here concerning this and not forbid what the Master builder is doing through His spirit. Let us remember what He told His disciples concerning those others who were “working in His name” Forbid him not: for he that is not against us is for us, or on our part” Mark 9:40 Luke 9:50. Let us also remember His words: And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd. This brings our focus back to the spring feasts brethren, the spring feasts that do not end until our day, the day of Pentecost. Let us remember to begin counting to that day (Lev. 23:15) The day when all that are in the graves shall hear His voice Jn 5:28. Do we hear His voice brethren? His sheep do, and they follow Him wherever He goes: My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. I pray you have a joyous and fruitful Feast of Unleavened Bread, and I hope to see you all soon, possible by Pentecost because we have much to talk about as the Scriptures continue to open up. Your fellow servant in Christ. bill Goff |
