Modern Facility Hey, this room has a modern toilet (but they forgot the seat.) From: William Goff <goffb50@me.com> Hi, How are you guys doing, here we are okay. I traveled to Kutui this morning, was forced out of my hotel room in Nairobi at 5am when I was invaded by mice moving in under the door (five to be precise came in in a matter of a few minutes.) I was up preparing a message and in they came, so i packed my bag and left. It’s been a rough week for some, one member who is blind lost her young son to pneumonia. Another active member (lady from the Masaba congregation) was stoned when walking home from the market (she is in hospital). Nehemiah (Orphan from Sengera) got burned from hot oil when making breakfast (spent one day & night in hospital.) he is home recuperating. I reached Kitui around 12 noon. Found a hotel room for $12. (Includes breakfast.) will be speaking at SDA university here on Sabbath. Please pray that it goes well, I’m not a very good speaker. (I’m also quite close to the Somalia border.) Yikes! October 13 From: William Goff <goffb50@me.com> Hi, Reached Nairobi last night safely, so all is well here. I am preparing my messages for the SDA University. Please pray that it goes well, we have addressed SDA congregations in the past and it has always produced fruit with some leaving that organization after learning about the Holy Days. (Seven Day Adventist don’t keep the Holy Days.) Also plan to visit the Slum church groups on Sunday for a bible study. Thanks Serving lunch on LGD. Eating in shifts, with the children first. Children outnumber the adults by far in all of our Kenya congregations. Kenya is a land of Orphans. Rocket Stove In Action |
