Greetings Brethren,

Hope all of you are fairing well during this time of trouble. Let us remember that our Heavenly Father, the one who is aware of each and every sparrow, is also aware of each and everyone of us. Let us thank Him for the abundant love, concern and protection He continues to give us.

I want to update you on Kelvin, the 16 year old boy who has been caring his five young siblings ever since their parents died. They have been going through a very difficult time. As mentioned in my last report, he was beaten badly by the police and had to be hospitalized after accidentally breaking the curfew. A couple of day’s after recuperating from that, he was bitten by a poisonous snake and almost had his leg amputated. But thanks to answered prayers, the leg was saved and he has fully recovered. But his troubles weren’t over yet. This past Friday night their deteriorating mud house collapsed in the heavy rain. Sabbath night they slept on the floor of a neighbors house, but Sunday morning they were forced to leave, with absolutely no place to go. So we have taken them in at the orphanage, and hope to shelter them until a new mud house can be built. We received a couple of estimates to rebuild, which totaled right around $1,000. If you can possibly assist them, please earmark your donation “Kelvin.”

Kenya continues to be plagued by unprecedented flooding in some areas, drought in others, and desert locust devastation is reported to be five times worse that when it first started 6 Months ago. One million are expected to starve to death in the coming Months. Thanks to your donations, we here at khofh continue to assist many of our starving brethren with the ingredients to make nutritional porridge. If funds become available, we will assist even more.

Here at the orphanage we have been eating from our garden as crops become harvestable like bananas and green vegetables. We try to purchase as little from the market as Possible.

The children you donors are assisting, send their heart felt thanks and appreciation to each and every one of you. Currently they are doing their studies at home with School lessons sent over the internet.

May our Heavenly Father and His Beloved Son continue to keep all of you as we patiently await our Lord’s return, and the establishment of His Government here on earth.

Your brother in Christ.
