Greetings Brethren,

My prayer is for our Lord to be keeping all of you safe and sound, as He always does for His church. We have so much to be thankful for, especially at the Sengera House Orphanage.  Our Heavenly Father is the provider, but He has been doing it through you. We thank Him for that, and we thank all of you for your continued Love, Compassion, and Support. You have not only kept many orphans fed, clothed and in school, but have also eased the suffering of many of our widows and brethren.

Let me start today’s update by once again thanking all of you who were praying for Nehemiah. We all know that our Lord is always there watching over us, but when He performs profound miracles, which He did in Nehemiah’s case, it can be very reassuring to a person’s faith. As you probably know, Nehemiah was informed by two Hospitals that he couldn’t be cured of the rabies dog bite he sustained, that his condition was fatal. The one Hospital wanted to amputate his leg, but our prayers were answered, and he was totally healed 100% and very thankful.

Nehemiah Sibwoga.

Nehemiah sends the following letter:

“Shalom!  Receive much greetings from Nehemiah Sibwoga.Let me take this opportunity to thank you our lovely and caring donors for the way you sacrificed yourself for me, where a dog injured by biting me.  If not your big support with prayers I would have died.  It was a big miracle from Our Almighty God.  Thanks for your concern about me and all of your prayers. Indeed let us pray for one another as we are waiting for the kingdom of God, and as well let us have total Faith and believe in Him.

I really appreciate your love, care and consideration to all of us here at the orphanage. Thank you so much for saving my life. Above all, I give all thanks to God. Thank you, God bless you.

Your brother Nehemiah.”

As for Haron, he continues to suffer with his leukemia, and we continue to pray for him.  But we know that our Father has Haron in our Lord’s Loving and Powerful Hands too, and will do what is best for him.  Our prayer is that we do our part properly, and if we are lacking in understanding or wisdom, we pray the Father for correction and guidance. Now I need to ask for continued prayers that we will be good stewards, using every donation properly and according to our Heavenly Father’s will, because suffering has increased in E. Africa, including many of our impoverished Brethren.  Drought and famine continue to plague Kenya.  A recent report from the Kenya Food Security Steering Group found that at least 1.4 million people in the country are facing acute hunger.

The government and “World Food Programme” attribute the threat of starvation to low levels of rainfall resulting in poor harvests and declining livestock conditions.  Also, desert Locust invasions continue to plague the Country. So many in Kenya are literally starving.  Your donations have been such a help to our brethren, but it has been a struggle, because there is so much hunger, and recently our funds have once again become depleted. But at the same time, so much is being accomplished.  All the orphans at Sengera House continue to eat, they are clothed (and we have been purchasing many clothes because they are at that stage of “Growing like weeds”.)  All of them are in school and doing well. Manley’s school has informed us that he is top of his entire school in Geography and they want to send him to some competition event, but at our expense.  Also, his sister Jemima, is top of her class, James is top of his class.  As mentioned above, the orphans you have been supporting are all doing well. And we continue to assisting numerous other remote cog orphans and Widows.

Patrick and his Grandmother Grace.

Patrick is one of our orphans living at Sengera House.  His only living relative is His Grandmother Grace.  She visited this past week, and sends her heartfelt thanks to you donors for “saving the boy’s life” (she says) “and even schooling him.”

Patrick’s past was just like the rest of the orphans we are caring, they were destitute upon arrival, and literally starving.  Our Lord sure knew what He was taking about when He said “Ye shall always have the poor with you.”  And James was right on when he said “Hearken my beloved brethren, Hath not God chosen the poor of this world rich in faith, and heirs to the Kingdom which He hath promised to them that love him?” I say that because our poor brethren are so rich in faith.  Even the children, when they are praying for something like a healing of someone, after they pray they come away with total belief that God will handle the situation, you cannot find even the slightest hint or iota of doubt.  Yes, Rich in Faith!

We pray Heavenly Father for you to increase our Faith, help any of our unbelief, and fill us; yes fill us with your Hoy Spirit.  Unite us Father, let us be of one accord with one another and most importantly, with you.
