“And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.”
“Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.”

(Revelation 22:1214)

Greetings Brethren,
How wonderful it will be to live in God’s coming Kingdom. It will be wonderful because sinners (transgressors of His good ways) will not be there. Only those who repent (change from their evil and sinful ways) will be allowed to enter.
(1 Corinthians 6:9-10) (Galatians 5:19-21)

Clinton James Brian Ezekiel & Isaiah

Pictured above are some of Thomas and Kevin’s young siblings. They are so happy to be harvesting their corn. They know first hand what it is like to go hungry. Less than a year ago they lost two of their young siblings to starvation. They are very thankful to those of you who have been helping them through these difficult times. (This is their first harvest in a long time.)

Psalm 41:1: “Blessed is he that considereth the poor: the LORD will deliver him in time of trouble.”

Proverbs 21:13: “Whoso stoppeth his ears at the cry of the poor, he also shall cry himself, but shall not be heard.”

Times are very difficult for our Kenyan & Tanzanian brethren. I received the following from Nehemiah; it’s a request for food for the church group at Rongo.

Nehemiah writes:

“The Rongo group is really suffering, there’s orphans and widows who are starving in that group especially now supplies have escalated into double price it’s even difficult people to listen into the word on Sabbath since their bellies are empty and that’s why they are even crying for help.So many widows and young children who are even sick and laying on bed since they are starving. I urge if possible we even add them little beans.”

End of quote from Nehemiah.

(Currently a sack of maze is 8,000 Kenya Schillings, approximately $80.00 and a sack of beans is 12,000 Kenya Schillings, approximately $120.00)

We have had additional brethren join hands with us in helping our impoverished brethren, and we appreciate it Very Very much. There is no one living there or here extravagantly. Our “Update Page” goes back for years documenting where the donated funds go. They reach the target, the “true” widows and the orphans are on top of our priority list.
(James 1:27)

Pictured below is Patrick, on the back of a mortorbike taxi. He is one of the two boys that we reported on in our last update who we plan to teach a trade. After praying for the situation, we decided to have them trained in furniture making by Brian (wako). Brian is also a cog orphan who was previously living at Sengera House, but wasn’t doing well in High School. So we took him out of school around a year ago and had a retiring carpenter teach him the trade of furniture making. Brian has his own shop now, and as you can see in the pictures below, is doing well.

Brian is busy at work painting a stool he just made.
He also makes couches.
Patrick on his way to Brian’s to learn carpentry.

The motor bike taxi driver is Ombadi, he also attends the Sengera congregation. Patrick will spend two weeks training at Brian’s. Then the motorbike will bring Clinton for his two week training, and bring Patrick back to the orphanage. Both boys (Patrick and Clinton) have been living at Sengera House for a number of years, and both have living Grandmothers who are widows whom they spend a lot of time helping. So they didn’t want to both be away at the same time. So each boy will take care of both Grandmas while the other is away training. Our plan is if they learn the trade well (over a period of time) we will help them open up their own shop in Sengera Village. That way they can provide for themselves and also assist their Grandma’s.

You donors have helped these impoverished orphans a lot, and as you can see, we are not just handing them fish, we are teaching them how to fish. They are also learning the Scriptures with Bible studies, and Sabbath day teachings.

Koibeyon Church

The Koibeyon group were former Seventh Day Adventist (SDA’s) but were excited to learn the Scriptures concerning the Holy Days which Benjamin Bett was showing them. They have requested more teachings, so he will be returning there from time to time.

I just received this picture from Benjamin Bett. He has purchased Bibles for the “Kelenjin” church group. They are in their own native tongue. Tomorrow (Sabbath 7-16-2022) he will travel there and distribute.

Kitembe Tanzania Group

I first visited this group back in 2006. They originally connected to the Radio cog when Herbert Armstrong was broadcasting from Radio Luxemburg back in the 50ies. During that visit, we spent a night in a hotel. At that time (2005) some televisions were just starting to come on the scene in remote areas of Tanzania. When we ate breakfast the following morning in the hotel dining room, there was a TV playing. It had two channels “MTV” (and some other channel like it) with video music and dancers showing plenty of skin. As I looked around the room, the elderly had frowns on their faces; (they did not like what they were seeing.) But the young people loved it, and had smiles on their faces; some were already swinging their hips like the dancers in the video. Nowadays the music videos are everywhere. We spend a lot of time teaching the youth the importance of coming out of this present evil age in which we are living.
(Revelation 18:4-5)

Currently the Kitembe congregation is trying to build themselves a hall to meet in. As you can see in their picture above, they have completed the brick walls, but lacking funds to put on a roof. We will be trying to help them with that project if possible. But helping our widows and orphans remains on top of our priority list.
(James 1:27)

I mentioned this project in the last update, but didn’t have a picture. Most Kenyans’ are peasant farmers, and live their whole life using only a ponga (machete) and a Jimba (hoe) for digging in their gardens. But the children at Sengera House learn to use a variety of tools, including cordless drills, saws, tape measures and much more. We teach them (while working around the orphanage) how to do many things, with hands on experience in plumbing, concrete, electrical, painting and more. When we needed to have our counter in the kitchen to be tiled, we didn’t hire outside contractor to do it, we purchased a wet-saw and we tiled it ourselves. Our hope is that all the orphans will eventually learn a trade and become self supportive after they finish school. And most importantly, we teach them about our wonderful Creator, and His plan for all of mankind. Phase one is the phase we are all currently in, learning to walk in all of His ways by following the teachings and example of our Chief Corner Stone and Elder Brother Jesus the Christ.

Thank you Brethren, thank you to the wonderful Brethren who have (for a long time now) been assisting our suffering impoverished Brethren. And we also thank those who have joined hands with us, you are the wonderful answer to the prayers we have been making to our Heavenly Father, requesting more help, because there are many true Brethren (members of the Household of Faith) living in these impoverished 3rd world countries who have been crying out for help, but very few Brethren living in the wealthier countries are even aware of their suffering.

Oftentimes men have caused much trouble in the church. Even now men have the church of God in disunity, and divided into hundreds of separate incorporated groups. But let us not be fooled by men. In God’s eyes there are only two groups out there, the “wise and the foolish” the “sheep and the goats”. More Brethren need to stop allowing men to divide them. We need to be working together, under one head, our Lord and Savior. And He gives us clear and simple instruction concerning who we should “forbad” and who not to “forbad”. He tells us: “If they are not against us, they are for us, or on our part.”
(Mark 9: 38-40) (Luke 9:50)

We, His laborers can accomplish so much by working together under His direction. So we thank all who are helping our impoverished Brethren. The suffering of many (especially many widows and orphans) is being eased.

Our Lord is soon to return. “Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.
For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie”.
(Revelation 22:14-15)
