Greetings Brethren,

When our Lord first sent out his twelve disciples, and gave them power to perform miracles, He told them “provide neither gold, nor silver, nor brass in your purses.” But later he changed that and said “But now, he that hath a purse, let him take it, and likewise his scrip: and he that hath no sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one”.

Matthew 10:9-10.) (Luke 22:35-36.)

We want to thank all of you for your quick and generous response to our SOS plea for help.  We are now back on track at Sengera House, and once again assisting those widows and remote orphans who are in need. All your assistance is such a help to so many of our Brethren in their sufferings.

We also want to thank you for your prayers. The prayers are of utmost importance to all of us, especially now, as we near the end of this evil age, and enter into unprecedented times of troubles and tribulation. Times continue to rapidly change around this world, and as we all know, not for the better.

When the church first began, it had no silver or gold, but it did have something much more valuable, something that has been lacking for a long time in God’s church. It had our Lord and Savior confirming the word with “signs following.”

(Acts 3:6-7.) (Mark 16:20.)

As the church, (His small flock) continues to grow in grace and knowledge, and returns to the “Faith once delivered to the Saints,” those Powerful signs confirming the Word will once again be present. But beware, because “The faith once delivered” the Faith that we need to get back to, has to do with beliefs, it has to do with doctrines, and we are living at the time when there is a lack of Faith, a lack of Belief, even in the cog today.

No wonder, our Lord questioned if He would find any Faith on the earth at this time. Those “signs follow” has to do with correct “Beliefs” correct teachings. It says in:

(Mark16:20) that our Lord was confirming the “Word” with signs follows.

We have to make sure all of our beliefs are in agreement with “The Word”  “Biblical Truth”, and repent of any fables that are being taught and followed as truth.

Today, the way of truth is evil spoken of, even in the cog there are some fables being believed and taught as truth. That’s why one has to study (for himself) and rightly divide. Etc. Etc.

(Jude 1:3.) (John 14:12.) (2 Peter 2:1-2.)

Many still ask: “When is the church going to get back together?” Brethren, we need to understand that the true church is a small flock, and not united by incorporated groups with clever names. The true church of God is distinguished by “Truth” and the “walking there in.” Truth is what defines the one and only true church “The Pilar and ground of the Truth.” And true worshipers; worship in spirit and in truth.

As long as one continues to study, rightly divide the Word, and grow in grace and knowledge (Truth) the more we will become of “one accord” with one another, and with our Lord. And the more “confirming” will transpire.

(1 Timothy 3:15.) (John 4:23.) (2 Timothy 2:15.)

This group is located in the “Great Rift Valley” the Valley which leads from Kenya to the Promised Land. The valley’s inhabitants include lions, leopards, elephants, rhinos, buffaloes, cheetahs, giraffes, antelopes, zebras, primates, and most importantly, some of our Brethren.

On my first visit to Nkopen, the congregation had just finished building their (what we call) “shade” their meeting hall. And they built it totally on their own. Each member contributed by bringing every board they could part with from home.

We assisted this group back when that Seven Day Adventist University was attacked. The school was SDA, but students of all faiths were allowed to attend. Sad to say, Al-Shabab entered in very early one morning and shot all the Christian students, (or at least the majority of them, over 100.) one students family were member of the church, he crawled under his bunk with two of his classmates for safety, but the gunmen fired under the bed killing his two classmates, he survived, but was shot though the elbow.

The Nkopen groups Bibles they had are quite worn.

Not everyone is in the picture; Manley was away at boarding school and two were running errands in the village.  As you can see, the children are all happy. They are in school uniforms and doing well.

This picture was taken this morning.
Again not everyone is in the picture, but all are happy and healthy.

Nehemiah is also quite well. As you know, he was miraculously cured of his fatal rabies dog bite weeks ago.  As you may know Haron has leukemia, and has been getting attacks and in need of blood transfusions quit often.

We had been praying for both Nehemiah and Haron to be cured of their fatal ailments.  It was quite obvious that Nehemiah was healed from the rabies dog bite, when he went from the Doctors in two hospitals telling him his condition was fatal, and calling for immediate leg amputation one day, to being 100% fine the following day, after prayers (and no amputation.) Nehemiah was healed on the spot. But Haron’s Leukemia has resurfaced. God has not chosen to heal Harron of this ailment at this time.

But Haron was once again arrested, and spent two horrible nights in jail, and again assaulted by other inmates, boxed in the face. The widow Ann was also arrested, and also spent two horrible nights in jail. They are okay now, both were finally released and at home.

That incident started on Monday July 5th.  The police arrested Ann first; early in the morning at her home in Nyamaruma (Ann is the widow caring two girls, her orphaned Granddaughter, and one of our church orphans from the border church group.) They put Ann in jail in Ogembo Police station. Why? Because she was helping an orphan, and they said it is illegal unless you adopt. Next they came and arrested Haron for helping Ann to assist the girl. We had bought the orphan a bed, mattress, clothes, and food, (she was sick and also starving when Ann took her in.)

The police stormed the orphanage at 9 pm (carrying guns) They arrested Haron, informing him that it was illegal to help like we did. They said that Ann needed to fill out adoption papers for the girl first. (They were as always looking bribe money.) It’s often quite difficult to help widows and orphans without being arrested. And their jails are horrible, no furniture of any kind, only the cold cement dirty floor. Haron has been jailed many times over the years, and only for doing good things. And as I mentioned, he was assaulted, boxed in the face. But other times he had to be taken to hospital after getting out of jail due to worse beatings.

But as the Scripture says, those who do such things will be dealt with by our Lord at His return. (Romans 12:19.) (Revelation 22:12.) And a very encouraging Scripture is (1 Peter 2:20) if you get punished or assaulted for doing good, and you take it patiently, that is commendable to God.

Nehemiah and James have been visiting this group of orphans living in a village called Botoro. This is one of the groups where we assisted the children in having their Jiggers removed. That’s James in the red pullover (far left.) James is Sengera House’s smartest student, with straight A’s. He will be starting High School when the new semester begins in about two weeks.

We have also started a “go fund me” to raise funds for the upcoming FOT. We try to assist over 1,000 cog members with food each Feast.

Lydia is our cook at Sengera House Orphanage. The garden is doing quite well, producing Kale, squash, maize, black night greens, and more.

There is a link below to Friday night’s Sengera House Bible study, in case you want to see it. The title is:  Miraculous Power
