Joash laying on of hands after baptism at Lake Victoria.
House of Joash Okinyi Hamisi in Tanzania. Joash was the first to connect to the “Radio Church of God.” Back then he traveled all over East Africa spreading the Good News of God’s coming Kingdom. Most, if not all, of the CoG groups there started from his heralding the messages. |

Joash and his wife.
Rose outside her house doing dishes. She is always happy and overflowing with God’s Spirit. |

Life and times haven’t changed much since the time of Christ in this part of the World. |
Josiah Thorn, pictured here, is either feeling quite refreshed after his morning bath in Lake Victoria, or maybe He was praising and thanking God that he was not eaten by the local hippopotomos. |
Maureen is in her kitchen, in Migori, grinding maze (corn) into meal. |
Maureen outside her house making yogurt in a gourd.
Nivea (one of Evans Ochieng’s daughters) and Evan Manning, from Canada.

Joshua and Charles. Most brethren in Kenya and Tanzania are peasant farmers.
In Kenya you will find donkeys, goats, and cows roaming free almost everywhere. This picture was taken in Kitengela, near Mutulu’s house. |

Kenya is a beautiful place!
Tree near Nairobi. Our God sure knows what He is doing. What a world it will be when we all learn to imitate Him. |
