Greetings Brethren,
Yes, how fortunate we are to be here at this Feast of Unleavened Bread.
First let us thank our Heavenly Father for providing for our impoverished Brethren to have a good Feast, (both Physically & Spiritual.) The Scriptures tell us that all good things come from above.
Thanks to the donors; (khofh) supported 21 separate groups for Passover and Feast of Unleavened Bread this year, with a total of 1,250 brethren. (Men, Women and Children in attendance.) Eight of those 21 groups met all seven days. If it wasn’t for the rapidly changing world conditions that are now upon us (upon the entire Globe) and the restrictions that continue to be imposed around this world, all the groups would have kept all seven days together (like they normally do.) And if there was ever a time for us (God’s church) to congregate, and spend more time together, it is now, and even all the more, because we see the day approaching.
Now concerning the Feast, some preachers teach that these are Jewish Feasts, and don’t need to be kept. But Scripture tells us that they are God’s Feasts, and that they are to be kept.
(Leviticus 23:2.) Says these are God’s Feasts.
Now there are seven Feast in all that we are to keep, and these Feast teach us all about God’s plan for mankind. (All seven Feasts are mentioned in Leviticus 23, you can read and study them later.
For now, let us focus on this Feast, the Feast of Unleavened Bread which is called the Passover.
(Luke 22:1.)
The Feast of Unleavened Bread is all about coming out of sin. It’s about changing from our old sinful ways, changing from our old sinful character, and putting on God’s character. Holy Righteous Character is what He is looking for in all of us. God wants us to think, act, and behave like Him, Upright & Holy. With outgoing concern for others.
Our God created us because He wants to dwell with us. But make no mistake about it, He will Not dwell with sin. (sinners will not be there in His coming Kingdom. IF we (or anyone for that matter) want to be in God’s Kingdom, we have to change any and all of our old bad ways, and walk upright.
If we don’t change from walking in our sinful ways, we will not be allowed in. Yes, He wants to live with us in His Kingdom for eternity. BUT no sinners will be there in His Kingdom. Even now, if we want Him to abide in us, while we are in the flesh, He will move in IF we keep His Commandments.
(John 14:23.)
God’s coming Kingdom will be a wonderful place. There will be no more suffering, no more sickness, no more hunger.
It is Very important for us to understand, that God (our Creator) is a God who means what He says, and says what He means. And He tells us from Genesis to Revelation that the soul that sinneth shall surely die. Only those who chose to live upright will be in His Kingdom. He gives us a choice, as He sets before us, even us today, the same choice of life or death. It’s our choice, even today 2021. But He tells us to choose life and live.
Brethren we are living at the end of the age, a time when many like to hear “smooth” things and a time when many like to preach “smooth” things. But “smooth” things will not get us into the soon coming Kingdom of God.
Brethren, let us Believe God, God does not and cannot lie.
(Hebrews 6:18 not turning.) And He tells us very clearly; very simply, very plainly that sinners will Not inherit the Kingdom of God.
(Galatians 5:19-21.) (1 Corinthians 6:9-10.)
Now in (1 Corinthians 6:11) it says that we were washed, we were sanctified, we were justified in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ (Yes, our Lord died for us) But that does not give us license to continue sinning.
Yes, our Lord paid the penalty for our sins, BUT he tells us to “Go and sin no more!”
During this seven-day Feast of Unleavened Bread, we are commanded to remove All leaven (which represents sin) from our property. During this week, if we happen to find some leaven in our possession (maybe we found a half cake, or Mandazi) we need to remove it right away. It teaches us that if we find ourselves sinning, we need to do the same, remove it (stop sinning.)
Now at the end of this seven-day Feast, we can go back to eating leaven products, like Mandazis, BUT we cannot go back to sinning. IF we do, if we continue to live a sinful life (like many in this world do) we will Not enter into God’s soon coming Kingdom.
Let us Believe God, the straight gate, and the narrow way is the only path that leads to God’s coming Kingdom, and few there be that follow that path. The many in this world are flowing the broad way which leads to death.
Now which path we choose to follow is Totally our choice. Brethren, let us choose wisely!
We need to take God and the important lesson that this Feast of Unleavened Bread teaches very seriously. IF, yes IF we don’t change from walking the ways of this world. If we don’t turn from those evils ways that cause and produce nothing but heartache and misery, we will not be there. We have to come out of this world, if we don’t, we will even suffer the plagues that are now coming.
Brethren, there is nothing that I’m saying here, that should scare us. Remember: “If God be for us, who can be against us!” If ones eyes are set on our Creator and His coming Kingdom, if we are obedient to Him, then we need only to fasten our seat belts, because we are in for a thrilling and bumpy ride as these end time prophesies begin to rapidly transpire. God says He will protect those who are accounted worthy. But if not focused on the coming Kingdom, and not accounted worthy to escape, we will need more than a seat belt for what is coming.
The Scripture is very clear, It all has to do with our “behavior”, our “walk” our “nature.” If we walk in accordance to His good ways, He will let us into His Kingdom. (And His ways produces nothing but good.) Remember, Utopia is real; it’s called the Kingdom of God.
Brethren, we are not living at the time when our lord began to build His church (That was 2,000 years ago) we are living at the time when He is about to complete His church.
His True church, His small flock, those are walking according to His ways. They are not stealing, not cheating, they are commandment keepers, and striving to walk in all of His ways.
It is those Brethren who our Lord will be meeting in the clouds, on the Sea of Glass.
Our Lord is soon to present to himself a glorious church.
He will be meeting them up on the Sea of Glass. But only those who change from all of their sinful ways will be there. All seven churches are told in book of Revelation \chapters 2 &3 that only those who “overcometh” will be there. We must succeed at overcoming the ways of this world. We must overcome sin.
(Revelation 15:2.) “Them that had gotten the victory.”
(1 Corinthians 13:10) is quite an interesting passage. Its speaking about the church, yes, the Ekklesia. “But when that which is perfect is come (That what our Creator is looking for in all of us, Perfection, meaning “complete” full spiritual growth.) “When those in His church are fully grown (we are nearing that time) when that which is perfect is come then that which is in part (never fully matured, began to grow, but stopped) will be done away.”
That word “done away” is same Greek word used in:
(Luke 13:7-9) Where it says to those brethren who do not produce fruit after 3 years of coming and looking: “Why “cumbereth” it the ground.”
“Done away” – “cumbereth” it the ground means: to be (rendered) entirely idle (useless) destroy, do away.
I know many today around this world are suffering (especially our poor Brethren) Life is a struggle for many, even here in the USA. But all that suffering is soon to end. Our Lord is soon to return. Then all of the suffering will be over for those who come out of this world now, for those come out of sin, and walk upright.
We (this world) is about to enter the Great Tribulation. Our Lord will be returning during much trouble.
Soon there will be war in Heaven. Satan will soon be cast down to this earth. And he will go after the church, but God will protect those in His church who have changed their ways, and are walking in His ways.
Yes, those in God’s church who take our calling seriously, and change our bad ways and walk in His ways, will be protected. He tells the Philadelphian church “Since you have kept my command to endure patiently, I will also keep you from the hour of trial that is going to come on the whole world to test the inhabitants of the earth.” NIV
He also tells us to “watch” and “pray” for that protection, to be accounted worthy.
(Luke 21:36.)
Let us learn from this Feast of Unleavened Bread to come out of sin, to stop sinning, and to live upright. Let us grow in His Holy Righteous Character, so we will meet our Lord in the clouds, and forever be with Him and our Heavenly Father.
